Belleair is best known for its small town feel and the famous Biltmore, but there is much more to this town then meets the eye. If you happen to take a ride down Bayshore, you will notice the gorgeous luxury homes and large private estate lining pristine waters. If you take a walk down Ponce De Leon you will notice the beautiful custom homes with immaculate lawns and creative landscaping.
If you ride down Alternate 19 you will notice a wide range of housing choices, just about any family could make a home here in Belleair. If you look through the MLS you will see that there are homes and condos in Belleair ranging from the mid 100's up to multimillion dollar estates. The higher end property is located near the water which is common in any city, but the property near the Belleair water is special, the beaches are pristine and very intimate, something you often don't find in a city of this size and with beaches of this quality.
The fastest growing area in Belleair is around the Belleair Country Club, The 18-hole course at the Belleair Country Club facility in Belleair, Florida features 6,253 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. This golf course was designed by Donald J. Ross and Gene Bates, the golf course opened in 1900. Ed Shaunessy is the Belleair Club General Manager. Homes within 5 miles of the course seem to have a nice premium associated, but all Belleair real estate has similar effect even if they aren't as pronounced.
If you are looking for a quiet home, Belleair also has very nice, close knit neighborhoods, perfect for raising a family or for retiring. It is always a pleasure going to an event in Belleair, the people seem to have a special quality to them, and I really appreciate that. Coming from the Clearwater area, it is much different, it is a larger city and getting to know people is harder because of that. The location of Belleair is very accessible via a multitude of large roadways. Belleair is located on the Gulf, but most of the city borders other cities in Pinellas County. The closest large cities near Belleair are the city of Clearwater and St. Petersburg. Both of these cities are located within 10 minutes of Belleair. You also are only approximately 30 minutes from Tampa Bay. Indian Rocks Beach is only a few minutes from Belleair, this was voted one of the top beach getaways and the hotels and shopping there is phenomenal. I would have to say Belleair is one of the most convenient cities in Pinellas and I love showing homes to my clients, because is so easy navigate.

There is a very wide variety of dining here in Belleair, including Italian, Chinese, American and Mexican cuisine. As well as your typical corporate food establishments (fast food). I eat in Belleair often and have yet to find an issue with any of the restaurants I have attended. The shopping is similar in choices, you have your typical boutique, shopping centers with 5-10 small business's in each strip center. There are also multiple large grocery stores in Belleair so fresh vegetables, meat and fish will never be hard to come by and a grocery store is usually within walking distance for most residents.
